We are continuing preparations for the City of Fishers 2026 Road Resurfacing Program and wanted to share an update on the initial phase of construction, which will focus on concrete work.

This phase includes curb, sidewalk, and ramp improvements, as well as other localized repairs that must be completed ahead of roadway resurfacing.

The contractor has provided a preliminary sequence for this concrete work:

Weaver Woods
Anticipated start: Week of May 25
Duration: Approximately 1 week
Impacted street: Harrison Parkway

Please note this schedule is subject to change based on weather, field conditions, and coordination with school operations, events, and other community activities.

As this work begins, you can expect:

Advance notification through door hangers and signage for directly impacted areas
Utility locates and pavement marking ahead of construction
Temporary lane restrictions and potential short-term access impacts
Flagging operations in neighborhood areas where needed
We are continuing to coordinate closely to minimize impacts to schools, transportation routes, churches, and community programming. Work in high-traffic school areas may be adjusted or scheduled later in the season to reduce disruption.

Following completion of this concrete phase, crews will return for milling and resurfacing operations later in the project.

We know recent storms may have created damage to shutters or siding around the neighborhood, please review your property to determine if you were impacted.  Our recent drive through inspections have shown a number of homes may have been impacted.  Please repair any damaged siding or shutters during your spring cleaning efforts.
